Ortivus Awarded Contract for City of Phoenix, to Increase Efficiency
Ortivus was awarded the contract to supply a 50-user ETS billing system (Sweet-Billing) to the City of Phoenix. The Sweet-Billing system also offers the City of Phoenix the capability of submitting its Medicare, Medicaid and commercial claims electronically, as well as extensive reporting capability including financial analysis and call analysis.
An extensive evaluation process was utilized in selecting the new ETS billing system for the city. The City of Phoenix Fire Department formed an evaluation committee that critiqued and scored each submitted proposal on several points, including:
- The software provider’s capabilities and experience in developing EMS billing software
- The level of customer support that the software provider offers
- The software’s history of proven performance in the industry
- The functionality that the software offers for the price of the entire purchase (good value)
After all of the data was collected and discussed, the Ortivus proposal for the Sweet-Billing system proved to be the best solution for the City of Phoenix. The City also chose the Ortivus program because of its ability to grow with their future needs and intentions of implementing an electronic patient care reporting system that integrates well with their current software systems in place.
City of Phoenix Ambulance Billing Director, Ray Temple, said, "The City of Phoenix Fire Department is looking forward to working with Ortivus and using their state-of-the-art software to improve our billing processes and further our collection performance success."
